According to the representative of INTEC Tra Vinh Waste-to-Energy Joint Stock Company, the company aims to invest in constructing a facility for processing urban, industrial, medical, and other hazardous waste to produce electricity. The plant will utilize INTEC Syngas WtE technology from Germany, converting waste into electricity. Output products will include electricity, gas, coke, and green hydrogen (upon request). A notable advantage of this technology is its emission-free, smokeless, and ash-free operation, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to global climate change mitigation efforts. The project is designed to process 500 tons of waste per day, with a total investment estimated at around 3,000 - 3,500 billion VND.
