The 2024 Men's and Women's Sepak Takraw Tournament stands out as an event organized to commemorate the Party and the advent of the Year of the Dragon in 2024. The tournament drew the participation of 20 sepak takraw teams representing various units, localities, and businesses across the province, featuring 15 women's teams and 5 men's teams. 

The organizers award prizes to the men's teams.

In the women's sepak takraw category, the teams were organized into 4 groups, engaging in a round-robin format within each group to determine the top two teams advancing to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and ultimately, the finals. In the men's sepak takraw category, teams competed in a round-robin format to accumulate ranking points.

Chau Thanh District team excellently secures the First prize.

Following six days of spirited competition, the Organizing Committee presented two sets of awards comprising First, Second, and Third prizes for the participating teams. Specifically, in the men's division, the Cang Long district team emerged triumphant, securing the First prize. The Phuong Thanh Club team secured the Second prize, while the Third prize was claimed by the Tieu Can district team. In the women's category, the Chau Thanh district team took home the First prize, the Phuong Thanh Club team secured the Second prize, and the Tra Cu district team earned the Third prize.

Thus, the inaugural sports event commemorating the Party and the Year of the Dragon in 2024 concluded on a note of splendid success.
