Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han delivers guiding remarks.

Guiding the focal tasks for February, Chairman Le Van Han urged departments, branches, and localities to maintain a high focus on realizing the objectives, tasks, programs, and plans outlined by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee. Emphasis should be placed on key tasks that propel both immediate and long-term development, requiring innovative approaches that yield genuine results.

Chairman Le Van Han underscored the importance of all levels, branches, and localities in fully preparing conditions and implementing synchronized, effective solutions to ensure that the people can celebrate the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in a jubilant, uplifting, healthy, safe, and affectionate atmosphere. Special attention should be given to organizing cultural and artistic events, exhibitions to commemorate the Party and celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2024, and safe, cost-effective fireworks displays for the public to revel in the spirit of spring and Tet celebrations. Vigilance is required in monitoring the situation and tightly managing areas, addressing sternly any issues related to the storage, transportation, and ignition of firecrackers.

Additionally, proactive measures are needed to respond to climate change, closely monitor tidal variations and saltwater intrusion, and efficiently operate the main drainage system to support the daily lives and production activities of the people. There should be a firm commitment to prevent saltwater intrusion into agricultural fields.

To protect livestock, especially during seasonal transitions, a strong push for propaganda campaigns, concentrated farming, and proactive vaccination campaigns for livestock and poultry herds is recommended. Adequate preparation is crucial for the successful cultivation of aquatic animals according to the seasonal schedule.

Lastly, maintaining the momentum of crime suppression, particularly addressing alcohol-related violations during traffic participation, is imperative. Districts, towns, and cities are urged to effectively execute military recruitment steps in 2024 and continue monitoring activities related to the organization of "Military and Civilian Tet" in 2024.
