a) Power grid: The distribution grid provides stable and reliable electricity to 100% of communes. wards and townships in the province to meet production and business needs of investment projects in Tra Vinh.

b) Power source: Tra Vinh province currently has 01 solar power project (capacity of 140 MW): 01 Duyen Hai Power Center with 04 factories (total capacity of 4,498 MW) and 05 wind power projects (capacity of 322 MW) in commercial operation, etc., raising the total output of electricity for grid generation to 1,102 million kWh; and ensuring stable power supply for the loads of Tra Vinh province and neighboring provinces. In order to create conditions to maximize the local potential and advantages of renewable energy, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to submit to the Prime Minister for approval in the national electricity development planning in the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, etc. with a total capacity of 46.505.13 MW.
