According to the approved planning, Tra Vinh currently has Dinh An Economic Zone with an area of 39,020 ha (stage 01: 15,403 ha) including functional areas: Non-tariff zone, Industrial Parks, bonded warehouses, seaport and port service area, industrial service area, entertainment service area, tourism area, etc.; planning with major industries such as electricity produc-tion, steelmaking, petrochemicals, shipbuilding industry along with other supporting industries; development of tourism area; port economy, non-tariff zones associated with ports and urban residential areas.

The Industrial Parks include: Long Duc Industrial Park (100 ha) in opera-tion, basically filled with 100% of the area. Co Chien Industrial Park (200 ha) in the stage of site clearance compen-sation, Cau Quan Industrial Park (stage
01: 120 ha) approved with detailed planning of 1/500 scale, in the implementation stage of the process to submit to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for submission to the Prime Minister for the decision on investment policies.
Industrial clusters: The province has planned 16 industrial clusters, has been calling investors to invest in the technical infrastructure of industrial clusters:
Phu Can, Hiep My Tay, Sa Binh, An Phu Tan, Luu Nghiep Anh, etc. which will be favorable conditions for investors to deploy projects in industrial clusters in Tra Vinh.
